Publisher's Description:PerformanceTest is a benchmark tool that allows everybody to quickly assess the performance of their computer and compare it to a number of standard baseline computer systems. It has a smallfoot print, is quick to run, and can export results to a variety of different formats. Results are presented as bar charts and timing is done using high-resolution timers. Tests include CPU, RAM, Disk, 3D, 2D Graphics, Network bandwidth, CD, and DVD. If the software is purchased, the user can access PassMark's database of baseline results where many other benchmark results can be downloaded. The five advanced-testing windows allow experienced users to create their own test scenarios and conduct an in-depth analysis of their hardware's performance. CPU, video card, disk, and RAM system information also are detected and displayed. Both a 32-bit and 64-bit version of the software are available.Version 6 updates 64-bit testing; adds a new gamelike 3D test; features integrated baseline uploads and downloads from PassMark Web site; updates CPU and disk tests; and adds a new GUI interface.
